The One Heart Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Rockwall is designed for women of all ages to know that they are uniquely gifted by God to glorify Him. It is our desire for women to find a place to study the Word of God, connect with other women in our church and community for his glory, and equip them to use the gifts God has given them. Our ministry is based on Romans 15:5-6: May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Jesus Christ, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Each of us needs to know God’s Word and be encouraged by one another no matter our age or stage in life. God has something to say to each one of us specifically.  All we have to do is listen and heed the call. Our desire for you is to know Christ intimately, build relationships with other women on this journey and experience the joy of serving the Lord together.  Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs us to gather together and encourage one another.  Knowing God through Bible Study and then connecting and serving with other women through our ministries and events will significantly bless and encourage you along life’s journey.

It is the purpose of the Women’s Ministry leadership team to offer a safe environment for you to learn and mature and put into practice your God-given gifts and abilities. Our priority is to teach, train and equip you to serve the Lord effectively and with excellence.
