This year we have developed a missions strategy extending from our own backyard to the ends of the earth!

We are involved throughout the year in a wide variety of ministries in the community of Rockwall, as well as around the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex. These include homeless support, community service projects, construction assistance and much, much more. Click HERE for a list of some of the local opportunities that exist at this time.

We are also burdened with the need to go into every neighborhood in the city of Rockwall and introduce our neighbors to our church and our Savior, Jesus Christ. We want to be reaching out as His hands and feet right where He has planted us. Click HERE for more information on our plans to "Reach Rockwall."

Each year we also plan mission activities that extend beyond our immediate "back yard." We have taken teams to a wide variety of locations around the United States, offering physical, emotional and spiritual help to those in need.

FBCR mission teams, from across a broad spectrum of our church membership, have spent time engaged in activities ranging from VBS and student-led ministries in Arlington and Chicago, to construction projects in Houston, and tornado relief and door to door evangelism in Tuscaloosa.

In 2012 we have plans to take our FBCR international mission teams to 3 diverse overseas locations on 3 very different continents: Asia, Europe and South America.

Our teams will be ministering among market places in Asia; in the rural countryside of North-West England; as well as high up in the Andes Mountains of Southern Peru.

In each case our teams will have as their goal reaching out to those who are perishing: taking the gospel message and hope of Jesus Christ to those communities that have not yet embraced God's gift of forgiveness.
