“The Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Church, Rockwall is designed for women of all ages to know that she is uniquely gifted by God to glorify Him. It is our desire for women to find a place to study the Word of God, connect with other women in our church and community for His glory, and equip them to use the gifts God has given them.”

One Heart Women’s Ministries
Thank you for your interest in Women’s Ministry at First Baptist, Rockwall. Our desire for you is to know Christ intimately, build relationships with other women on this journey and experience the joy of serving the Lord together. Get involved and let us do as Hebrews 10:24-25 instructs, by gathering together and encouraging one another.
One Heart Bible Study
Colossians 2:2-4 says “…that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.”
Would you like to be encouraged, have understanding, wisdom and knowledge in a confusing and deceptive world? We all need to know God’s Word and be encouraged by one another no matter our age or stage in life. God has something to say to you specifically, so come and grow spiritually with us in a Women’s Bible Study.
There are multiple studies offered at a variety of times to fit into your schedule. Wednesday morning studies begin at 9 am with a brief time of praise and worship before going to the study of your choice. Childcare is available for a minimal cost of $10 per family for the entire length of study.
One Heart Women’s Mentoring
One Heart Women’s Mentoring provides the unique opportunity for two women to come together in a mentoring relationship to share insights from God’s Word, pray together, and encourage one another in their walk toward wholeness in Christ. In this relationship, a mature Christian woman will draw from her personal experiences to teach, nurture, and support a spiritually younger woman. This journey of shared experiences will give each woman the chance to discover the joy that comes from growing in Christ and truly becoming one heart.
One Heart on Missions
What a joy it is to serve together! One Heart on Missions provides a hands-on experience for women to go “on mission” with Christ to make a difference in their community and beyond. By joining hearts and hands together we can impact the lives of orphans, the homeless, the less fortunate, and the needy for Christ.

One Heart Moms In Touch
Do you have a passion or concern for the next generation? Moms in Touch is a group of women that comes together each Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 to pray for children, their schools, their teachers and staff. Whether you are a mother, grandmother, aunt or even a friend of a child in need, you are welcome to join this group in prayer. Prayer is the main focus for students that are in public school, private school, home school, pre-school or college. Come grow as a prayer warrior and lift these precious ones up to the Lord.
One Heart Prayer Team
One Heart has a website created just for you to go to when you have a concern that needs prayer. Your requests are kept confidential and will be covered by a group of women willing to stand in the gap for you.
One Heart Events Team
Ephesians 2:10 says “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Using the gifts God has given them, the events team members plan, promote, organize, and implement events for our Women’s Ministry. The goals for these events include connecting all of the women in our church, reaching out to the women in our community, and growing together as believers.

One Heart Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
The ministry impact of MOPS:
MOPS connects mothers to the power of parenting.
MOPS develops mothers as leaders.
MOPS grows churches.
MOPS brings mothers and families to Jesus!
FBC Day MOPS meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, throughout the school year from 9:00-11:30.
Less than half of our group attends First Baptist Church Rockwall. Almost one third of our group does not affiliate with any church at all. MOPS is an outreach ministry – many moms and children set foot in a church for the first time at MOPS. There is currently a waiting list to join FBC Rockwall’s MOPS group.
